Each serving of food items in the Medium Fat Meat Group contains 7 gms. of proteins and 5 gms. of fats and gives 75 calories
Each serving of food items in the High Fat Meat Group contains 7 gms. of proteins and 8 gms. of fats and gives 100 calories
NOTE:
In the Diet Charts meat items are of the Lean Meat variety.
If meat items from the Medium Fat Meat group is eaten, you will have to subtract half a serving of fats/Oils allowed in you diet.
If meat items from High Fat Meat group are eaten, you will have to subtract one fat serving from the fat/Oils servings allowed in your diet.
It is advisable to mostly choose items from the Lean Meat group. Foods from the other two groups, especially from the High Fat Meat group, should be eaten sparingly.
